Invitation to 2019 Education Forum for Asia Annual Conference

It is our great pleasure to cordially invite you to attend the 2019 Education Forum for Asia Annual Conference, which will be held from Nov. 22nd to 24th, 2019, in Chengdu, China. The conference of this year, centered on the theme of “Intelligence Creates Future, Write New Chapter for Asia Education”, will be hosted by China Association of Higher Education, Sichuan Provincial Education Department, Chengdu Municipal Government, Education Forum for Asia and Sichuan Normal University, organized by Education Forum for Asia Training Center and Distance Education in China Magazine with the support of Chengdu Bureau of Expo Affairs, and Chengdu Education Bureau. 

Education Forum for Asia (EFA) (www.zzclit.com) was organized by Boao Forum for Asia, UNESCO and China Scholarship Council, and was initiated by seven former state leaders and international organization representatives. Since its initiation in 2003, EFA has successfully organized 14 annual conferences, including the Meeting of Initiators for the Education Forum for Asia. Aimed at “Building Bridges for Asian Education”, Education Forum for Asia was created with the vision of establishing an international platform of communication and dialogue for governments, businesses and nongovernmental organizations to explore and provide sound solutions to the forefront issues facing today’s education.

This year we’ll continue our discussion with politicians, Nobel Prize laureates, foreign diplomats to China, renowned international experts in technology, education, culture and innovation fields, and representatives from educational institutions, enterprises and media outlets. Topics will include higher education, international education cooperation, Asia-pacific vocational education and international cooperation, family education, art education, AI education, preschool education, primary and secondary school education, youth creativity and invention, youth leadership and so on. 

In the meantime, Asia Foreign Study Scholarship Award Ceremony and local school visiting will also be arranged on the sidelines of the annual conference. We hope that the convening of this conference will promote exchanges and cooperation in education between China and the world, bring a new phase to the cooperation in the fields of education, science, technology and cultural exchanges.
